    1. Prepare the Croutons:

      • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

      • Toss bread cubes with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper.

      • Bake for 5–8 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

    2. Make the Caesar Dressing:

      • In a bowl, mash the anchovy fillets and garlic together into a paste.

      • Whisk in the egg yolk, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.

      • Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking constantly until creamy and thick.

      • Stir in grated Parmesan cheese.

    3. Assemble the Salad:

      • In a large salad bowl, toss chopped romaine lettuce with the Caesar dressing until evenly coated.

      • Add the croutons and sprinkle more Parmesan cheese on top.
